Screening of Still Life in Lodz (Martwa natura)
Jewish Community Center, Copenhagen
On November 28, 20222, JEWISH CULTURE IN COPENHAGEN screened Still Life In Lodz at the Jewish Community Center in Copenhagen. About 110 attended the screening, including Polish Jews who, after 1968, emigrated to Denmark. After the screening, Lilka Elbaum answered questions from the audience. The Q&A could have gone much longer since many wanted to know details about how the film was created and also share their own stories. It was an honor to talk about the film in a country where the fate of the Jews during the Holocaust was so different from the fate of Polish Jews.
